Superfan is a consumer-crypto social platform for artists and their superfans. Music artists take part in a novel kind of revenue stream enabled by web3, solving for years of broken streaming economics and predatory record deals. Superfans enjoy an experiential relationship with their favorite artists & ride-or-die fan community, many perks, and generative AI tools for radical self expression. We’re a souped-up, gen-AI boosted MySpace - they did 2 things really well 20 yrs ago, music discovery and UGC. Now imagine both of those features with a 2024 tech update. We aren’t a typical web3 music platform, we’re building for the web2 masses who will participate without needing to understand how web3 is used technically. They will likelymay care deeply about how web3 has helped create a safe space for their favorite culture creators, and be proud to participate. From the public point of view, we’re not different from a web2 user experience, we lean on our UX experience to invent solutions to blockchain friction. We’ll be fun to use, and be seen widely as a savior for artists and the whole music industry. Whereas DSP’s such as Spotify pay a fraction of 1cent per stream (and will pay even less starting in 2024), we’ll be offering meaningful income. We’re also helping artists secure rights to their music, they can become owners of their art for the first time ever. We’ll offer help with new licensing, re-releases, and new releases with royalties to fans who contribute. We’re showing up as a hero, creating a social experience which has never existed before, using web3 mechanisms to architect a new economy, and doing it all at a scale which brings the next million(s) into our ecosystem.
